Hello! My name is Beth. I am a generation-X single, living in a small city. A long-haired medium-sized mutt is my closest companion. Lazarus lays at my feet as I read, joyfully accompanies me on long hikes in the deepest woods I can find and waits for me at home when I go bicycling.
I am in a sometimes-desperate pursuit of hope. You are invited to join me on this journey. I believe it is only fair to warn you that my ideas are from a decidedly Christian worldview because I believe true hope is found only in Jesus Christ. So come along with me and let’s together chase Him Who is Hope.
Wow! “Chasing Hope!” I heard a preacher say once that “pursuit is the proof of desire.” We chase after, pursue what we desire the most. This is where our energy is excerpted and utilized. We decide whether or not we “chase” a worthwhile endeavor. As you pursue the Hope which you desire so intensely, I tell you now my lifelong friend, you will not be disappointed.
